IFK Mariefred

IFK Marie Fred is a Swedish sports club founded in 1908 from Marie Fred, who is mainly known for its hockey department.

History

The club was founded on 17 June 1908. The Hockey Division participated in the seasons 1936/37, 1940/41 and 1942/43, at the Svenska series i Ishockey, the then highest Swedish league, in part. From 1944 to 1947 IFK Marie Fred also went to their successor League Division 1. The team took in the 1930s and 1940s also regularly at the time still in the Cup mode discharged Swedish Cup finals.
