IFK Östersund

IFK Östersund is a Swedish sports club from Östersund. The club is best known for its football team, which played a total of 1953-1970 eleven seasons in the second division.

History

The IFK Östersund was founded in 1906 as a local branch of the Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna. 1949, the football team of the club was promoted to the third division, where she soon established himself in the front Ligabreich.
