Ignacio Camacho

Ignacio Camacho Barnola (born 4 May 1990 in Zaragoza ) is a Spanish footballer who is under contract with FC Málaga since January 2011.

Career

Association

Camacho began his career in 2001 at the club in his hometown Real Zaragoza. 2005 Scouts of Atletico Madrid were aware of him and brought him into their youth department. On 1 March 2008 he made his debut at the 4-2 victory over the great FC Barcelona in the Primera División. Just two months earlier, he had signed his first professional contract. On May 3, one day before his 18th birth year, scored in the 3-0 win over Recreativo Huelva his first two goals for Atletico.

After good performances, he spent most of the season 2008/ 09 on bench. The then coach Javier Aguirre preferred the Portuguese Maniche and newcomer Éver Banega him. In February 2009, the situation improved somewhat since the new coach Abel Resino came with Maniche in a conflict and therefore stressed him out of the squad. Nevertheless, he came to only eight league bets.

The 2009/10 season was Camacho no chance to progress at Atletico. Beginning of the season he was constantly injured after he was fit again, it was not long before he picked up the next injury. Only twelve league games were the result. However, the season was very successful for his team. Atletico won in extra time 2-1 against Fulham UEFA Europa League 2009 /10 and reached the final of the Copa del Rey 2009/10, but what you had to give lost 0-2 to FC Sevilla.

In the preseason, he was a substitute in the UEFA Super Cup 2010 final against Inter Milan in the 90th minute for Simão. In the season 2010/11 he was in the first round of the Primera División not used and was subsequently sold in December 2010 to FC Málaga, and awarded his team-mate Sergio Asenjo.

National

Camacho led the U- 17 team in both the U-17 Football Championship 2007 in Belgium ( one goal), as well as the U-17 football World Cup 2007 in South Korea as a captain. In addition, he played twice for the U -20 and since 2008 a member of the U-21 national team, in so far had two missions.
