Il Volo

Il Volo ( German: The Flight ) is a trio of Italian operatic pop teenage singers Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble.

Career

The three pop-opera singers started their career in 2009 when they performed at the second edition of the Italian Music Competition " Ti lascio una canzone " in San Remo. During the competition, the three singers were selected to sing as a trio the song " O sole mio". After the competition, they stayed together, initially under the name Il Trio, the one immediately changed in Il Volo.
