Ildikó Enyedi

Enyedi [ ildiko ɛɲɛdi ː ] (* November 15, 1955 in Budapest) is a Hungarian film director.

Enyedi studied business, then film directing in Budapest and Montpellier. Her first film My 20th century inspired them in 1989 critics and audiences at the Cannes Film Festival and received the Caméra d'Or for best film. This film, as well as their later great work, especially Simon Magus and Magic Hunter ( a variant of the " Freischütz" ) are characterized by a unique blend of poetic lightness and melancholy.
