ÃŽle Saint-Lanne Gramont

The Île Saint -Lanne Gramont is 45.8 sq km area, the fourth largest island of the Kerguelen Archipelago in the southern Indian Ocean. It is named after Georges Saint -Lanne Gramont, a lieutenant in the expedition of Raymond Rallier you Baty (1908 ). It is separated by straits of the Île Foch in the east and the Loranchet peninsula in the west. The distance between the Pointe Cox in the north and the southernmost point of the island is about 16 km, the maximum width of approximately 4 kilometers. The highest point of the island at 473 meters.
