Ilī-padâ

Ili - pada (formerly read as Ili - Hadda ) was a high- medium - Assyrian dignitaries of the 13th and 12th century BC (died around 1180 BC). He was a descendant of Eriba- Adad I (1390-1364 BC) and sukallu rabi'u and SAR of Hanilgabat under Ashur nārāri III. (1202-1197 BC). He must have possessed great power, persuaded him Adad - šuma - wearing-away of Babylon, but in a letter as king of Assyria. Borger assumes that this was simply meant as an insult to the real king, which would be consistent with the other tone of the letter that accused the king of laziness and drunkenness.

Ili - pada finally had to go into exile Kardunias, his son Ninurta apil - Ekur succeeded but, probably to tear with Kassite help the Assyrian throne itself. He describes himself in his inscriptions partly as a son of Eriba -Adad, not of ILI Pada, so maybe wants to suppress the memory of his rebellious father.
