Illinois Route 6

The Illinois State Route 6 ( IL 6 short ) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Illinois, which runs in a north -south direction.

The State Route begins at Interstates 74 and 474 in Peoria and ends after 16 kilometers in Mossville at Illinois State Route 29

Course

The Illinois State Route 6 continues the route of Interstate 474 that ended in the west of Peoria. At the War Memorial Drive it meets U.S. Highway 150, which runs parallel to I-74. Even before the Allen Road IL 6 starts to run towards the east and north of Mount Hawley Auxiliary meets at the Airport Exit 6 on the Illinois State Route 40 for 16 miles ending at State Route 29 in Mossville.
