Ilse (Weser)

The Ilse is an approximately 10 km long, right-side tributary of the Weser in Lower Saxony Landkreis Hameln- Pyrmont.

Course

The river rises 500 meters east of the "House Harderode " north of Harderode, a district of Coppenbruegge, near the Ith. From there, the Ilse flows south through Harderode, then through the districts Esperde, Brockensen and Börry the community Emmerthal. From Börry makes an arc to the south, where it passes through the district Frenke before it flows south of the hamlet Latferde into the Weser.

Flood

At high tide the Ilse occurs more often floods in the past to their places.
