Imadoki!

Imadoki! (Japaneseイマドキ! ) is a manga series Yuu Watase Japanese illustrator ( among others Fushigi Yuugi ). She is assigned to the shōjo genre.

Action

The young Tanpopo (Japanese for dandelion) changes the school. From the province of Hokkaido it gets to the elite high school Meio - Gakuen in Tokyo. There, it is often abused by her classmates, mainly from prestigious families as " weeds ". Nevertheless, they do not lose heart and befriends with her ​​classmates Kouki Kugyou, Tsukiko Saionji and Aoi Kyougoku. She soon learns that Kouki's brother has been missing for two years and since then Kouki lives with his fiance Erika Yanahara. Between the two girls flares to Koukis favor a competition, the Erika can decide by means of a kiss for themselves. Disappointed goes Tanpopo their friends since out of the way. One evening, however there is a young man in front of her door ( as it turns out a new neighbor ), who introduces himself as Koukis lost brother. Later, the brothers reconcile something. But Tanpopo agrees to go out with a Kouki's brother. As the Kouki noticed he is jealous and so he behaves much nicer to his fiancée. However, later he decides to leave his fiancée. The out trying to kill himself. Tanpopo gets a call from her granny and learns that her grandfather had a stroke and now is in a coma. She decides to stay there forever. In the end they confess to each other their love and Kouki goes in Hokkaido to the university.

Publications

Imadoki! appeared in Japan from 2000 to 2001 in separate chapters in the manga magazine Shōjo Comic Bessatsu. These individual chapters were summarized by Shogakukan publishing in five anthologies.

In German the manga was published from September 2004 to January 2005 in full by Egmont Manga and Anime.
