Implerstraße (Munich U-Bahn)

Metro Station Implerstraße the Munich subway was opened on 22 November 1975, and is a three-track branch station of the U3 and U6.

The Implerstraße station is a particular station, as it not a single column needed to 22.5 meter wingspan, and is therefore unique in the Munich U- Bahn network. The middle track was unused until 1989, since the U3 took the U6 to the opening of the line after Fuerstenried West together by Holzapfelkreuth. On track 1, the U6 go towards the Marienplatz. On track 2, the U3 towards Fürstenried West, as well as the U6 goes towards Klinikum Grosshadern. On track 3, which was 14 years unused, now runs the U3, of Fuerstenried Coming direction Marienplatz. The rear track walls are made of fiber cement boards. For each fluorescent tubes that illuminate the laid with red Isarkiesel motif platform, the ceiling panel with holes was provided. From Implerstraße station and the three-pronged operating system under the Theresienwiese be reached, and subsequently at the station Schwanthalerhoehe the U5. This compound is used since the opening of the U5 for training and Einrückfahrten. The connection via the parking area was built, so that the lines U4 and U5 have a connection to the depot north. Outside the rush hours of the operating system trains are parked on the two sidings.
