Improvisationstheater DRAMA light

DRAMA light is an improvisational theater group from Germany, founded in 1990. It ranks as one of the first groups in Germany. Together with the group " Improv Theater Emscher blood " they organized several theaters sporting events in Germany.

Venues

The group has guest appearances throughout Germany and Switzerland. Regular main venues are:

  • Old Fire Station ( Mannheim)
  • Karlstorbahnhof Heidelberg,
  • Kulturfenster e.V. Heidelberg,
  • TIG7 Mannheim.

International exchange

For several years DRAMA light plays with international groups. For example, The Crumbs (Winnipeg / Canada), Unexpected production (Seattle / USA), Théâtre Inédit ( Strasbourg / France), Goli or (Ljubljana / Slovenia), TY ( Zurich / Switzerland ), theater in Graz train station ( Austria ).

Theatre Sports World Cup 2006

2006 assumes DRAMA light for the metropolitan region Rhine Neckar the orientation of the first Theatre Sports 2006 World Cup, the FIFA World Cup 2006 ™ took place in eleven cities and regions in Germany as part of the Arts and Culture Programme of the Federal Government. In Mannheim, Heidelberg and Ludwigshafen four group matches and a quarter -final match will be played. Also found in Kaiserslautern and Stuttgart ever held a preliminary round encounter. DRAMA light is located in the Rhine -Neckar region, the teams from Belgium (the world champion), Japan, Morocco, France, Slovenia, Austria and USA. DRAMA light was also represented at the Opening Ceremony in Munich and the final in Berlin.

  • 1997 participation in the 2nd Theatersportcup the Süddeutsche Rundfunk by the player Arnim Huber.
  • 1998/2003 DRAMA light wins the Inter Spontaneous in Kiel.
  • 2000 German theater sports runner-up.
  • 2001/ 02 Invitation to the International Improvisation Theatre Festival in Berlin
  • 2005/06/08/09 participation in the Heidelberg Theatre Marathon.
  • 2006 Participation in the 5th International Improvisation Theatre Festival in Ljubljana ( Slovenian )
  • 2009 outdoor theater days VERTIGO FREE as part of the 15th International Schillertage Mannheim - along with theater in Graz train station
