In Your Dreams (TV series)
In Your Dreams - Summer of your life ( original title: In Your Dreams ) is an Australian - German Youth series. Produced the 2012 series by the production company Southern Star Group in collaboration with Endemol Worldwide and the NDR. The series revolves around the Australian twins Sam and Ben, who spend the summer months in a castle in Germany and have to overcome all sorts of situations. The first broadcast took place on 29 October 2013 at KiKA, while the Australian broadcast will take place on the digital sender 7Two.
Action
Sam and Ben Hazelton to the summer not in Sydney, Australia, to spend, but in Europe, as their parents move to Switzerland because the father has received a research contract. The two are not initially very enthusiastic about the idea. But so have Sam and Ben to distant noble relatives of a castle in Lower Saxony, which belongs to Philip of rabbit castle. The castle, however, is anything but in good shape and also the lock operation with a café and guides not going so well. For renovation there is no money. The twins try to Philip, his daughter Lili and the trainee Markus everything to breathe new life into the castle. This is not as easy as I thought, as they have to fight against the scheming uncle Hermann, who does not miss any intrigue to come to the castle.
Production
In June 2012, the production of the series was announced. It was a first season with 26 episodes ordered. The shooting took place on 80 days between 25 June and 31 October 2012. The film was shot on the Marienburg, near Hanover, in Melsungen and Hamburg. The series was filmed almost 70 percent in Germany. Only a few scenes were filmed in Sydney.
