Inabe (Japaneseいなべ 市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Mie.

Geography

Inabe lies west and north of Yokkaichi of Nagoya.

History

The city Inabe was on 1 December 2003 from the former municipalities Inabe (员 弁 町, chō ), Taian (大安 町, chō ), Fujiwara (藤原 町, chō ) and Hokusei (北 势 町, chō ) of the district Inabe founded.
