INCA (Software)

INCA is a measurement, calibration and diagnostic software from ETAS. This in the automotive industry widespread development software is used throughout the phases of the development process of ECUs and ECU programs for measurement, calibration, diagnostics and programming.

Description

By calibrating an ECU software with INCA, the behavior of control, regulation and diagnostic functions to different vehicle models or model variants can be adapted without calculation routines must be changed. These characteristics of functional algorithms are set and simultaneously recorded signals from control devices, vehicle buses and measuring instruments. The ECU signals are visualized during calibration with INCA, so that if an immediate change in the control unit can be done a detailed review and analysis of the system behavior. Such a calibration of characteristic values can in the car, in the laboratory, carried out on test benches or in combination with simulation environments (eg Simulink ).

Functions

The data required for the calibration of an ECU software functions such as interface- dependent calibration, calibration data, data visualization, data analysis, ECU programming, vehicle bus monitoring and remote control via standard interfaces are included with the purchase. With the help of add-ons to additional features can be integrated, such as the symbolic representation of diagnostic data, calibration of Simulink models, the integration of LIN and FlexRay buses as well as the calibration and validation of software for rapid prototyping hardware.

Combined with a hardware product is INCA able to access the standard interface of control devices such as CAN, K-line, ETK, USB, Ethernet and FlexRay.

  • ECU Access via CAN with the protocols CCP, KWP2000, UDS and XCP
  • ECU access via FlexRay with the XCP protocol
  • ECU access via Ethernet with the XCP protocol
  • ECU access via USB to the XCP protocol
  • ECU access via K-line with the protocols KWP2000 and Mc- measurement
  • Control units with parallel access ETKs via the address and data buses
  • Access control devices with serial ETKs on microcontroller debug interfaces such as NEXUS, JTAG and AUD
  • ECU access via J2534
  • Access to multiple controllers simultaneously
