Inchgalbraith is an island in Loch Lomond.
History
Is Inchgalbraith, as his name suggests, connected to the Clan Galbraith, and was one of the fortresses of the clan. the remains of the ancient castle of the clan can still be seen today. It's probably a crannog.
Geography
The island is located on the western shore of Loch Lomond, two miles south-east of Luss. At its highest point it is about eight feet high.
Fauna
Inchgalbraith to 1869 was a hotbed of fish eagles.
