The Indiana University of Pennsylvania ( IUP ) - not to be confused with Indiana University or the University of Pennsylvania - is a public university in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, USA. The university is located 89 km northeast of Pittsburgh. It is the largest university in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education ( Passhe ) and is the fifth largest in the state. IUP has branch offices in Punxsutawney, Northpointe, and Monroeville.
IUP offers more than 140 undergraduate degree programs and 70 graduate degree programs in eight colleges:

At 1.5 km ² main campus of IUP offers a mixture of old and new buildings of 63 red brick. The original building, the Victorian John Sutton Hall, a listed building.
