Indios de Ciudad Juárez

The Indios de Ciudad Juárez is a Mexican football club that was formed in the summer of 2005, when the team of Pachuca Junior, the former farm team of Pachuca, was shipped to the nordmexikanische border town of Ciudad Juarez and renamed accordingly. This happened at the same time, as the former club of Ciudad Juárez, the Cobras Ciudad Juárez, were shipped to Los Mochis to act there under the name Tigres UANL Tigres as a farm team.

The Indians first played in La Liga 'A'. She recorded her first great success already in the second half of the 2005/06 season, when they advanced to the Clausura 2006 to the final, where they were subject only on penalties to eventual Movers Querétaro FC. Impressively, however, the fledgling club won the Apertura 2007 where he this time in the final against Dorados de Sinaloa 3-0 and 4-0 clearly had the upper hand. Because they were thus already qualified for the final ascent to the eventual winner Clausura Club León, they could even settle in the second half with a really disappointing fifth place, which is not entitled to participate in the play-offs. In the rise finals they ultimately prevailed against Leon with a total score of 3:2 ( the first leg in front of their home crowd ended 1-0 and the Foreign leg with 2:2 ) by and are thus since the 2008/ 09 season in the Primera División represented. For a splash they made in the second half of their first Premiership season, as they finished seventh in 2009 occupied in the overall table of Clausura and pursued into the subsequent play-off semi-finals. In the quarterfinals, they had surprisingly against the reigning champions Toluca (1-0 and 0-0) prevailed before they failed against Pachuca ( 0:2 and 3:2 ).
