Inferior laryngeal artery
The laryngeal artery inferior ( " lower laryngeal artery " ) - in animal anatomy called the caudal laryngeal artery - is an artery of the neck. It arises from the lower thyroid artery and pulls, accompanied by the recurrent laryngeal nerve in the trachea up to the back of the larynx ( larynx ). There it is covered by the inferior pharyngeal constrictor muscle.
The inferior laryngeal artery supplies the part of the larynx below the glottis with arterial blood.
