Information set (game theory)

Information District ( also the amount of information ) a term used in game theory is to express imperfect information. In extensive games, a district information is a set of decision nodes, in which a player may be located at a certain stage of a game without being able to determine reliably from the run of play, in which node it is located. Tucked away about a player I in a hand holding a coin and lets players advise II, in which it is located, so the two possible positions of the coin for player II form an information district.

A district information is usually expressed by a dashed line through all nodes of the district or by a cartridge that includes the nodes of the information the district.
