InfoZoom

Info zoom is software for analyzing large amounts of data in the main memory of the computer ( in-memory ). A quantitative -oriented, visual method is complete data sources on one screen page and allows navigation, and editing of the data. The data may be loaded from different databases or text files and analyzed. A formula language allows the calculation and processing of data in real time. The integrated database wizard with SQL Editor allows you to connect different data sources. The analyzed data can then be displayed in the form of tables or graphs. The software has more than 36,000 licensed users and over 800 customers worldwide.

History

Info Zoom is the central product of the Bonn -based software company humanIT, which was founded in 1997 as a spin -off of the GMD Research Center for Information Technology, today Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology and developed the software info Zoom and markets. Since 2003 the company is a 100 % subsidiary of the ERP vendor proALPHA Software AG, Weil Erbach, under the management of Leo Ernst, Werner Ernst and Jürgen fire.

Data sources

There are free add- ins for Word 2010 and Excel 2010. The analyzed data can be pasted into Word or Excel directly from the Add- in.

Other applications can zoom info about the. NET Data Provider as a dynamic data source to use for example Crystal Reports 2008.
