InfraRecorder

InfraRecorder is a free burning software under the GNU General Public License (GPL ) for optical media such as CDs and DVDs for Windows operating systems. It is written in the programming language C .

Formation

InfraRecorder was launched at the Google Summer of Code by Christian Kindahl into being in 2006. It uses the command -line utilities for cdrtools. Besides cdrtfe it is one of the few graphical firing programs for Windows, which will be published under a free license.

Functions

The program provides functions related to creating and copying CDs and DVDs, dealing with ISO images, CD - and DVD -RW discs, as well as double-layer DVDs. In addition, it can read audio CDs and save them as MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA and RIFF WAVE. Existing video DVD files it can also burn. It supports simple drag and drop both within the program and between different programs (for example, from the Windows explorer ).
