INID

" INID " is an acronym for " Internationally Agreed Numbers for the Identification of ( bibliographic ) Data" and represents the schema used by the patent offices of the world to perform bibliographic data of patent publications in a uniform way independent of the language of publication on the cover sheet. For example, (30 ) always be found behind the number, the details of any previous so-called priority applications of the patent and after the number (51) of the technical areas (classes) according to the International Patent Classification ( IPC).

Inid codes are standardized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO ) in St.9.
