Inside money

Inside money is the money that is due the process of money creation in a corresponding increase in the level of private economic agents.

A typical example of this is the scooped money through the active creation of commercial bank money.

From the accounting perspective the assets and liabilities of private sector agents can pick up by a consolidated balance sheet. That is, the net quantity of internal money in an economy is zero.
