Inspur

Inspur (浪潮, formerly Langchao ) is a Chinese hardware manufacturer and provider of IT services.

The production and development center of Inspur is located in Jinan, China in Shandong Province. The product range includes PC server hardware and software development.

In 1983 Inspur introduced the first microcomputer for the Chinese market forth. Since 1993, the company is one of the major hardware manufacturers in China. In June 2005, Microsoft invested $ 20 million in the company, which changed its name from " Langchao " in " Inspur " in April 2006.
