Instituto Nacional de Estatística

The Instituto Nacional de Estatística (INE ) is the Portuguese Institute of Statistics. Among other things, it is responsible for conducting the census. The INE was written in 1935 from the DirecçãoGeral de Estatística. Presently, the institute is housed in buildings in the Freguesia (municipality ) Areeiro in Lisbon.
