Integrated Conservation and Development Project

Integrated Conservation and Development Projects ICDP (German: Integrated Conservation and Development Projects ) describes a theoretical approach of the International nature conservation, to be brought together with the development of policy approaches with the practical biodiversity conservation. This idea was developed in the USA in the 90s and aims at sustainable development.

Today, the practices of ICDPs are part of most large programs, such as the WWF and many NGOs.
