Integrated Remote Management Controller

The integrated Remote Management Controller ( iRMC ) is similar to the IPMI interface a Baseboard Management Controller ( BMC) with built-in LAN port, but with expanded functionality that was previously only available with additional plug-in. The iRMC standard is based on an extension of the IPMI interface and Fujitsu Technology Solutions ( FTS), formerly Fujitsu Siemens Computers (FSC ), developed. The iRMC thus enables the complete control of servers, regardless of system status, and thus particularly the control of servers that are located in the "out of band" system state.

As an autonomous system on the system board of a current server iRMC has its own operating system, its own web server and its own user management and an independent alarm management. The iRMC is also supplied in stand- by mode of the server with power.

The iRMC comes up to date on all major Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers are used.
