International Association for Cereal Science and Technology

The International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC ) ( International Association for Cereal Science and Technology ) was founded in 1955 at the 3rd International Congress of bread in Hamburg and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. It was originally called International Association for Cereal Chemistry. The company was founded to develop international investigation standards for grain and flour investigations and publish. It currently has about 30 member states; 5 more states have observer status. The association is independent and internationally recognized technologist and as a forum for cereal scientists. Purpose of the association is to standardize methods and publish, after which all over the world to share and compare their findings laboratories.

The current President and Chairman of the Executive Committee is Dr. Marina Carcea. Technical Director is Prof. Dr. Lindhauer the Max Rubner Institute in Detmold.
