International Association of Applied Psychology

The International Association of Applied Psychology ( IAAP, German: International Association of Applied Psychology ) is one of the most significant international psychological societies. Members of this organization can be individuals (as opposed to IUPsyS as an umbrella organization of national professional associations ). Its task is to promote the science and practice in applied psychology and to stimulate the worldwide exchange on these issues. The IAAP was founded in 1920 and is the oldest international professional organization within psychology.

The IAAP has more than 2,500 members from about 80 countries.

In all four years of the International Congress of Applied Psychology held. The IAAP is organized into 16 divisions for the various disciplines of psychology. It gives the journal Applied Psychology: An International Review out. The IAAP is the oldest international organization psychologists and was founded in 1920 as the " International Association of Psycho Technology" ( Association International de Psychotechnique ).
