International Federation of Little Brothers of the Poor

Les petits frères des Pauvres is a non-profit organization that was originally founded in 1946 in France by Armand Marquiset. It has been the goal of completing old, lonely people out of their isolation and to help them to enjoy life more. 1979 an international umbrella organization was founded, the Fédération Internationale des petits frères des Pauvres (International Federation of Little Brothers of the Poor ). It is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with consultative status recognized ( category II) by the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and has national member associations in France, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Mexico and the United States.

The German subsidiary club, les petits frères des Pauvres - Freunde alter Menschen eV, is a non-profit organization that was founded in Berlin in 1991.

Taken together, be of the petits frères des Pauvres world over 30,000 old people of more than 10,000 volunteers and about 600 salaried employees supporting.

Tasks
