International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center

The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center ( CIMMYT; span for Centro Internacional de Maiz y Trigo de Mejoramiento ) is an international research organization, which campaigns for the corn and wheat growing through the development of improved seeds and improved farming practices. CIMMYT is one of 15 institutes of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research.
