International Organization of Legal Metrology

The International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML ) (German: International Organization of Legal Metrology ) is an international organization for regulating the metrological issues in legal Eichwesen founded in Paris on 12 October 1955.

The OIML recommendations are out, inter alia, in terms of weighing equipment that are recognized in many countries and also feed into national standards.
