International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence

The International Research Association for Talent Development and Excellence ( IRATDE ) is a research organization in Beijing, China, was founded in 2008. The official organ of the IRATDE is their newsletter Talent Talks. She also publishes a scientific journal Talent Development and Excellence.

Objectives and Membership

Main concern of IRATDE is to promote the talent, gifted and expertise research. At present it has more than 400 members in over 60 countries. Full member may be, who has presented two thematically appropriate scientific papers. Before this condition is met, you can become an associate member, whichever one is relevant level (such as members of ministries of education, gifted teachers at schools, young scientists ). A recording as an associate or full membership requires the acceptance by the Board.

Scientific congresses

It will be conducted every two years of scientific congresses. The first was held in 2009 in Xi'an, China, instead. The second is announced for 2011 in Al Hassa, Saudi Arabia.

The 2008 elected Executive Committee is composed of the following researchers:

  • President Abdullah Aljughaiman from King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia
  • Vice - President: Heidrun Stoeger of the University of Regensburg, Germany
  • Treasurer: Jiannong Shi of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, China
  • Speaker: Wilma Vialle from the University of Wollongong, Australia
