International Securities Exchange

The International Securities Exchange (ISE ) is an American stock exchange operator, which since 20 December 2007, in the possession of Eurex, a company of the German Stock Exchange Group, is located. The ISE is the world's largest equity options exchange.

History

The ISE was formally established on February 24, 2000 and adopted on 26 May 2000 for the first time the trading activities on. The very first transaction was at that time the trade of 20 call options on the company SBC Communications.

In May 2001, the 25 millionth contract was traded.
