International Union of Muslim Scholars

The International Union of Muslim Scholars (Arabic الاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين al -Ittihad al - Alami li - Ulama al - Muslimin, English International Union of Muslim Scholars, abbreviated IUMS ) is an international pan- Islamic non-governmental organization whose founding conference in London in 2004 occurred.

Its headquarters was located at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland ( ICCI ), he reportedly said to have been laid before May 2012 after Qatar.

President is Sheikh Yusuf al -Qaradawi. Vice Presidents are the Mufti of Oman Ahmed bin Hamad al - Khalili ( Ibadis ), Sheikh Abdullah bin Bayyah ( Sunnis, Maliki ), Ayatollah Mohammed Ali Taskhiri ( Shiites ), Ayatollah Muhammad Wa'id Zadeh Churasani ( Shiites ).

The Secretary-General was from 2004-2010 Mohamed Selim El- Awa ( Sunni).
