Into ( Finnish for enthusiasm ) is the fourth studio album by the Finnish dark rock band The Rasmus, and the first studio album under the name of The Rasmus. Before that, she simply called themselves Rasmus. It was recorded from May to December 2000 in Stockholm and published by Playground Music on 29 October 2001.

History

2000 Rasmus The Rasmus in listed order after drummer Janne Heiskanen traded places with Aki Hakala. The Rasmus in 2001 signed a recording contract with Playground Music Scandinavia. Seppo Vesterinen became their new manager. The band released Into in Finland, where it reached double platinum and # 1 ranked in the charts. It was the first album that was produced by Mikael Nord Anderson and Martin Hansen in the North Studios in Stockholm. FFF - Falling was released as the first single and reached # 1 in Finland. The second single, Chill, reached number two in Finland. Into was released in other European countries, for example in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Italy, France and Spain.

Special Edition

The Special Edition of Into was released by Playground Music Scandinavia / Edel Music on 5 November 2003. In addition to the 10 original tracks are four bonus tracks and the video for FFF - Falling on the album. It has a 24-page booklet with new photos of the band. The Special Edition is available in black and white and not like the original in orange.

Singles

F-F -F Falling

FFF - Falling was released on 2 April 2001 as the first single of the album. On the single there is also a video that shows the band at work. FFF - Falling reached # 1 on the Finnish singles chart for seven weeks.

The March 11, 2002 published Heartbreaker is the fourth single from the album. " Heartbreaker" rose in Finland at # 2 and achieved a week later, the top of the charts. Music videos

F-F -F Falling

The first video was of Into F- F- F- Falling. In the video, the members of The Rasmus wear a type of beach clothing and plays in a recording studio. In the video is in front of a girl that meets her friend at the station. The girls spend a lot of time together, they listen to music and have fun in the bus. They are always hilarious and change her clothes, dancing everywhere and kissing in a car. Then the two girls sleep together and the next day a girl regretted her actions. The band looks them in some situations there.

Chill

The second video shows the band Chill in a bus while they take pictures and play on acoustic instruments. In this video you can clearly see Lauri Ylönen sing. The video also shows some photos and mini videos of the band on the road.

Awards

The Rasmus won in 2002 with the album four EMMA ( the Finnish Grammy ) as Best Group, Best Album, Best Pop / Rock Album and Best Song ( for FFF - Falling).
