Ioannis Svoronos

Ioannis Nikolaos Svoronos (. Iωάννης Greek Ν Σβορώνος ) ( born April 15, 1863 Mykonos, † July 7, 1922 in Athens ) was a Greek numismatist.

Svoronos studied in Athens, Paris and London. Since 1887 he was a member, from 1890 to 1920 director of the Numismatic Museum in Athens, since 1908, to professor of numismatics at the University of Athens. Since 1898, he edited the journal International d' Archéologie Numismatique.
