Ioannis Tsoukalas

Ioannis Tsoukalas Argyriou (Greek Ιωάννης Αργυρίου Τσουκαλάς, born July 3, 1941 in Thessaloniki ) is a Greek politician of the New Democracy party.

Life

Tsoukalas studied physics. From 1986 to 1995, he worked as a professor at the Institute of Physics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 1995 to 2008 he was employed as a professor at the Institute of Computer Science of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2009 he is member of the European Parliament.
