Ira Rennert

Life

Rennert into a Jewish family. He studied at Brooklyn College and New York University. After his studies he worked from 1956 as a credit analyst on Wall Street in Manhattan. With the purchase and sale of junk bonds, he managed to rise as an entrepreneur. He founded his own company in 1961 IL Rennert & Co. ( Renco ). Rennert is married and has three children. He lives with his family on an estate in Suffolk County, New York. According to the American Forbes Magazine Rennert is among the richest Americans and has been listed in The World's Billionaires.

Ira has with the MagCorp / U.S. Magnesium in Utah the largest magnesium producers of the USA and the Doe Run one of the largest lead smelters in the world. 2013 closed the Doe Run lead smelter, the last in the field of the U.S. in Herculaneum, Missouri.
