Ira von Fürstenberg
Ira von Fürstenberg (actually Virginia Carolina Theresa Pancrazia Galdina Princess zu Fürstenberg, born April 18, 1940 in Rome ) is a European actress and jewelery designer.
Life
Ira von Fürstenberg is from the Princely House of Fürstenberg and is the oldest of three children of Tassilo zu Fürstenberg (1903-1989) and his wife Claire Jeanne Agnelli (* 1920), a sister of the late Fiat boss Giovanni and Umberto Agnelli. Fürstenberg's brothers are Egon of Fürstenberg (1946-2004) and Sebastian zu Fürstenberg ( b. 1950 ).
Her career began with a scandal when she married zu Hohenlohe on 17 September 1955 at the age of 15, Prince Alfonso. The marriage, which lasted until 1960, was preceded by two sons forth: Hubertus and Christoph of Hohenlohe. In her second marriage, she was married on 12 January 1961 to 1964 with the Brazilian entrepreneur Francisco Pignatari ( 1916-1977 ).
Ira von Furstenberg came to the attention of the public as illustrious representative of the high society and tabloids for decades. You acted as a model at fashion shows, and though she had never received acting lessons, she took a role in 1966 offer of the Italian producer Dino de Laurentiis to; she looked after for years in numerous productions of international film. In 1976 she was appointed President of the Italian branch of the cosmetics company Germaine Monteil. In 1978, she assumed the office of Director General of the Roman fashion house Valentino. In January 1992, she was awarded his own TV series Palastgeflüster at Sat.1. Ira von Fürstenberg also made himself as a designer of art objects a name.
As a guest of the Harald Schmidt Show, she claimed that a marriage of her with the widowed Prince Rainier of Monaco was considered. They were also used on the common ancestor of Lady Mary Victoria Hamilton, the Scottish- German wife of Albert I of Monaco.
