Irakli Tsereteli

Irakli Tsereteli (Georgian ირაკლი წერეთელი, Russian Ираклий Георгиевич Церетели; born November 20, 1881 in Kutaisi, Georgia, † 20 May 1959 New York) was a Russian lawyer and leading Menshevik with Georgian origin.

Tsereteli supported the Russian participation in the First World War. After the February Revolution of 1917 he became a member of the Executive Council of the Soviets. From May to August 1917, he was Minister in the Provisional Government. After the October Revolution, he became a member of the Menshevik government in Georgia.
