Irán Eory

Iran Eory (actually Elvira Teresa Eory; born October 21, 1937 in Tehran, † March 10, 2002 in Mexico City) was a Mexican actress.

Eory was born as the daughter of an Austrian father and a Turkish mother of Jewish origin in Iran; this they later took the occasion to use the name of their homeland as an artist name. She grew up in France and Spain, and won the beauty contest the title of Miss Monaco 1959, before she worked as an actress.

Even with 17 years Eory had been discovered for the film; In 1961, she worked regularly in movies; from 1964 also for television. She played in the next three decades in mostly oriented to entertainment goods in Spain, Argentina, Italy and Mexico, where she moved in 1970.
