Iranian People's Fedai Guerrillas

The Volksfedajin guerrilla Iran (Persian چريکهای فدایی خلق ایران sealed Erik hayeh Fadaeyeh Chalgheh Iran, iPFG ) is a Marxist- Leninist guerrilla organization in Iran.

History

The group was founded in 1979, after Ashraf Dehghani had left the organization of Volksfedajin guerrilla Iran ( OIPFG ). Ashraf Deghani accused the OFPG to have distanced himself from the armed struggle.

After the Islamic revolution in 1979, the Volksfedajin split into 19 smaller groups; the largest groups are the organization of Fedaian ( minority ) ( aghaliat ) and the organization of Volksfedajin Iran ( majority ) ( OVFI (M) - aksariat ), where the majority has distanced himself from the armed struggle and tends to reformism, while the minority always pursued even more revolutionary goals.
