IRAS 16293-2422

IRAS 16293-2422 are two young double star in the constellation Ophiuchus. The stars are in the Rho Ophiuchi nebula, which is considered to be star -forming region, and is about 400 light- years away from us. The system is surrounded by gas, and dust, which consists of propionitrile, methyl formate, formic acid and silicon monoxide. With the help of silicon monoxide was found that there are actually two rotating in the opposite direction slices.
