IRAS 23166 1655

CRL 3068 / AFGL 3068 / LL Pegasi is of a spiral nebula surrounded binary star system in the constellation Pegasus. The two stars were determined by observations of the Keck Observatory. Your apparent spacing is 0.11 ". The cause of the spiral structure of the matter emissions of the two stars is assumed ( a carbon star ), which is modulated by mutual circling. On the basis of the spiral distance and the outflow an orbital period of 710 years was calculated.

Since both stars are obscured by a permeable only in the infrared cloud of dust and could not be separated in the preparation of IRAS directory because of the small distance, they are out there with a common name and position.
