Ireland Fed Cup team

The Irish Fed Cup team is the national team of Tennis Ireland, which is used in the Fed Cup. The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup ) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, similar to the Davis Cup for the men.

History

For the first time Ireland took part in the Fed Cup. The best result was reaching the second round in 1972.
