Irgenhausen

Irgenhausen is an outdoor watch the community Pfäffikon in the Swiss canton of Zurich.

Here are the 1898 excavated remains of a Roman fort, the fort Irgenhausen. It is located on a small hill, about 500 meters from the Pfäffikersee. The floor plan is square with side length 60 meters, four corner towers (8 x 8 m) and three middle towers (6 x 6 m ) to the north, west and southern fronts.
