Irkutskenergo

Irkutskenergo (Russian Иркутскэнерго ) is an energy company from Russia, headquartered in Moscow.

Irkutskenergo was founded in 1992. The three main power plant locations of the company are located at the Angara River, which flows out of Lake Baikal: the Irkutsk Dam ( built in 1956 ), at the Bratsk reservoir and at Ust- Ilimsker reservoir. In addition, the company owns nine thermal power plants, a high-voltage network and a low-voltage network.

Around 40 percent of the ownership of Irkutskenergo has the Russian state.
