IS Lyckans Soldater

IS Lyckans Soldater is a former Swedish sports club based in Gothenburg.

History

The association founded in 1883, is mainly known that he took part in Sweden at the first football game. Opponent was on May 22, 1892 Örgryte IS, which prevailed 1-0.

But other athletes, such as Olympic champion Eric Lemming, were active for the club. End of the 19th century turned the club several Swedish athletics champion.

1900 joined the club along with Göteborgs Velocipedklubb and Skridskosällskapet north to found the new club Göteborgs IF.
